Colleen Chapin is Founder of www.hometownfavorites.com, the web’s favorite source of hard-to-find, nostalgic and regional candies and foods.  Founded in 1996, Hometown Favorites has been featured in USA Today, People magazine, the Wall Street Journal and (hear the angels sing) Oprah.    Having to choose between a runaway business and any semblance of family life, Chapin sold her business in 2001 and returned to school in South Florida, earning an A.S. degree in Interior Design. 

Chapin is currently a member and Certifying Agent of the Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) and a Florida Licensed Real Estate Agent .  In addition to ten years experience working for a luxury home builder, Chapin has remodeled and sold over a dozen personal residences, both in Florida and Wisconsin.   Her five adult children are hoping her addiction to remodeling will abate soon, so that they don’t have to ask for directions when they’re invited for dinner.
